Yep, time to break from the left. Next time, Dems should try saying they'll do more to crack down on immigration than Republicans. Instead of "Defund the Police," run a prosecutor. Talk about having a gun and wanting a strong military instead of your identity. Just some ideas.

Democrats aren’t contending for hegemony, not telling big story that resonates w people at a moment of polycrisis. Trump is. You can’t craft a political order upon a new commonsense w/out a big story—which you can’t do if you poll-test everything and fervently protect status quo.

Uber's chief legal officer (who also happens to be Harris' brother-in-law) convinced Harris to stop attacking big business during the campaign, in order to get more CEOs on board. Couldn't make it up.

This was very much the first post-wokeness Democratic campaign. It was run by a party whose top people read Matt Yglesias and gave $700 million to a PAC heavily influenced by David Shor. For this wing to act like Cassandras is beyond absurd.

This is great @ElonMusk and Vivek Ramaswamy! Here’s another idea – cut costs while saving free speech! Department of Government Efficiency has an incredible opportunity to end the federal government’s role in the Censorship Industrial Complex. It can do so by targeting federal grant-making institutions that

"My diplomacy never ceased in their efforts" -- an appropriately contorted and meaningless statement from a profound failure of a president.

The crypto community was kind enough to send me $Lorenzo, so I have permanently locked my tokens into a Liquidity Pool, so that I will never sell on the community but rather just earn fees as our token continues to flourish! Amazing day, all the Glory to God! CA:

St. Isidore wants you to pay for Catholic schools across the country, no matter your religious views. The Supreme Court may agree. slate.trib.al/UK553uy

Leslie Ribovich and I wrote about the St. Isidore case, which is not the *most pressing* threat to American democracy but is certainly connected to them. slate.com/news-and-polit…

So we’ve got two competing schools of what the Democratic Party should do next. One of them is hosting the largest political rallies in history in places like New Hampshire and Arizona, and the other one just got $120 million from Silicon Valley and is on a book tour.

This is obvious but I’ll say it anyway: a party elite that rallies behind a corrupt sexual harasser like Cuomo is not fit to defeat Trumpism, just to offer us a different flavor of it and then scold us for not buying.

nyc swung right in the presidential election but just nominated a Muslim socialist for mayor. this country isn't getting more rightwing, people are just fed up with cowards who don't stand for anything or care about making anyone's life better
