As final year med students preference jobs, a reminder that #Excel is a powerful tool that you can use to help automate the ranking process. Instead of doing all of the work, get Excel to do 90%, and you do the remaining 10%. Here I ranked my partner's jobs in under an hour🧵

#MedTwitter I am devastated to hear of yet another doctor, who’s life has ended prematurely to suicide. A total tragedy. Please know there is help out there.I’ve created this resource to support #doctorsmentalhealth. “Take care of those who take care of others.” Adam Kay

To all those claiming we should be happy with our pay because we have 'bulletproof' job security with guaranteed pay progression. We have neither.... When applying to medicine 7 yrs ago, never did I imagine I could be competing for a doctor's job with non-doctors...

Competition for both training posts and locally employed SHO posts seems to be rapidly climbing, and locum market is dead. Are we at the point where doctors might start becoming unemployed?

UKFPO seems to conduct unevidenced practices whilst ignoring consultations of relevant stakeholders starting with the story of the flawed SJT to removal of intercalation points to now the randomisation of entire foundation process including SFP. Randomisation offers nothing and

Doctors received offers for Radiology training posts at around 3-4pm. They were able to accept these offers on Oriel and received confirmation of acceptance. Offers then began to disappear on Oriel. At 6:30pm they received this email. Simply unacceptable.
