NEW REPORT: Today we have published The Alternative People Survey - a survey of civil servants on questions which aren't covered in the official annual People Survey. In partnership with Civil Service World we surveyed over 1,200 civil servants about their work. 🔗👇

There are half a million civil servants in Britain. I used to be one of them. They have a huge impact on government. But they don't have a public voice on policy, and their leaders rarely make public interventions about their work. So we surveyed them! Here's what we found🧵

I just can't think why think tanks would be clustered in London 🧐 If it helps, we regularly have people outside of London attending events. We also have non-Londoners working in think tanks. But none of this matters, I think, to the basic point that silencing SCS is a bad thing
