The Committee is alarmed that women and marginalized persons with disabilities disproportionately access Track 2 MAiD, revealing deep equality and human rights issues in Canada's MAiD policies. (5/9)

The Committee strongly opposes Canada’s planned 2027 expansion of MAiD to people whose sole condition is mental illness. They also advise against extending MAiD to mature minors or through advance requests. (6/9)
