Today is our last day playing at the North American Bridge Championships. We had some great moments yesterday that aren't reflected in our scores, but we are having a great time. We have one final shot at redemption this morning. :-)

On our last session at the NA Bridge Championships, we actually did well enough to earn some red masters points! Whoo-woo!

We got caught in these T-storms on our way back from Newport today and experienced dime-sized hail in additional to road flooding. Our car sounded like it was being hit with machine gun fire.

We are about to leave the Diesta del Pilar in Zaragoza, Spain. It has been amazing to see more than 100,000 people bring flowers to this plaza and build this tribute to their Madonna.

Tonight, I plopped my iPhone 15 on a tripod, pointed it west, hit capture, and this is the comet photo I got, despite all the skyglow from the full moon. iPhone cameras have gotten incredibly good. #iPhone

Avis gave us a Hyundai Ioniq 5 instead of the Tesla M3 we reserved. We now realize how difficult charging is for folks who can’t use the Tesla supercharger network. Chargers are in poor locations, stalls are few, and all seem to be on different incompatible networks. Sad.

Also, non-Tesla EV makers need to up their software and user interface skills. The Ioniq UI seems like just a surface layer added onto a traditional car. Navigation, voice recognition, and driving assist functions all seem like siloed worlds and aren’t integrated.

Went to the Boston Opera House to see &Juliet for the 5th time last night and we are going again tonight. Go see it for a joyous Shakespearean evening of singing, dancing, and being able to make our own choices. #AndJuliet
