The ground truth about the human fMRI occlusion paradigm revealed by rodent 🐁2P imaging - Super excited about this Human Brain Project collaboration with Koen Seignette at Christiaan Levelt lab multispecies multiscale CCNi_UofGlasgow. Preprint and Tweetorial below: spoiler: L2/3 are contributing!

Monday is deadline for my fully-funded PhD with Stephen Brewster for UK students to study brain basis of VR cybersickness. For details see: findaphd.com/phds/project/t… CCNi_UofGlasgow UofG SciEng @UofGPsychNeuro

At #FENS2024? Consider visiting Joana Carvalheiro at her poster (PS03-27AM-198). Herculean effort for our first ever 7T EEG-fMRI work on high-res spatiotemporal dynamics of midbrain salience and value signals.

Great to see this in print! Long journey but we got there in the end @BalsdonTarryn & @AndreaPisauro. During my PhD, I noticed it can be challenging to decode long-term memory (LTM) contents from EEG activity. We were struck by research showing that transient visual "pings" can boost working memory classification. So, we evaluated this technique for LTM: direct.mit.edu/imag/article/d…

It's a full house for our first keynote: Maria Wimber from University of Glasgow CCNi_UofGlasgow presenting some gargantuan multimodal efforts to understand how the brain constructs memories of past events. My brain is going to be reconstructing the memory of this talk for a while 😍
