Great to be with friends old and new at the La Junta Chamber of Commerce banquet last night! We are fortunate to have such strong leaders at the helm of our rural colleges.

Today we celebrated Linda Lujan and her many accomplishments as Lamar Comm. College president. Her passion for the #commcollege mission is unmatched, and her steady leadership set an example for all of us. While we will miss her dearly, we know she'll always represent #LopesPride.

Pres. Alvarez (Timothy A. Alvarez, Ph.D.) has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to community engagement and student success. As a #firstgen non-traditional student himself, he has been a tremendous champion of our open access mission. His positive leadership will be greatly missed.
