I work on Main street, north of the Disraeli bridge. I run or bike to work. People (usually people who do not walk around in that area) often tell me how dangerous that is. Here is my experience :

Data that I didn’t have room for in my column. Why invest in the livability of Osborne Village? With a current population of 14,000 the neighbourhood is experiencing a housing boom. 130 homes just completed, 200 approved for construction, and 500 homes are now under construction.

A report to city council advises no more right turns from eastbound Assiniboine onto southbound Main St. The other would see left turns from northbound Main onto westbound Assiniboine controlled by a new traffic signal, but prohibited during the afternoon rush hour.
