BoschBot WHY THE MILL IN AFTERLIFE? Millers had a bad reputation in Bosch's time, and deserved at least Purgatory's cleansing. An old proverb says: “A hundred bakers, a hundred millers, a hundred tailors: three hundred thieves.” (From Harrebomée anthology vol.I, page 130.)

BoschBot THE STRUCTURES WITH THE TENT CURTAINS are here interpreted as bath tubs. Seen as a sinful place, so the water will be cooking now. Painted by Hieronymus Bosch & Studio, ca.1500. TOP: Garden triptych (enhanced). BOTTOM: Last Judgment/Vienna.

Meanwhile, this week at the shop of the Guangzhou Museum of Art, a so far unknown Bosch book! It seems to have a changed version of the Meditations of John Baptist? Esp. face and hair look very strange, other details look mostly correct. See my comparison with the original.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has one of the most amazing intros. The background music makes it even more beautiful. This is where I fell in love with the game. ❤️

BoschBot A KETTLE on the devil’s head has more interpretations *he’s Gluttonous *silly crown *link to historic event. I found a proverb that also seems valid “These are not the pots that stand on their own pegs.” [NL ‘pikkel’ can be a pot’s leg. Motto hints at boastfulness of the person]
