This is at UHW. The Sanctuary is on B5. From the concourse go straight up along the main corridor, past pharmacy and radiology and you will get to the main lifts. Go up to B5 and the Sanctuary is there. Cardiff and Vale University Health Board

If the UK were the safest place to have a baby, 1000 fewer babies would die annually. Right now, we’re not even in the top twenty safest countries. Ask our politicians to demand safer staffing in maternity and bereavement care services. act.sands.org.uk/ask-your-gover… #BLAW #BLAW2022

We as a society do not make enough space for grief. We manage it so poorly. We wait for it to be over or the person to be “back to normal” so we can have our needs met or don’t have to deal with it. Burying it is almost lorded as a “sign of strength”.

Action on Postpartum Psychosis (@actiononpp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

New mum seems strange? Seek help. It could be postpartum psychosis (PP), a treatable medical emergency. Help make an urgent appointment with their doctor, midwife, health visitor or call 111. If you think there is imminent danger, call 999. With help they will recover.

"THE BIG GREEN BOOKS 500 CLUB" I've set up a thing where I can regularly send £500 of books to schools who need them. It costs £1 a week to help out, or whatever you can. Here's the plan. biggreenbookshop.com/big-green-book… Please share (and join!) Thanks.
