Dr. Western's students working hard in 7th grade social studies to determine the relative values of gold vs halite (salt) in their study of West Africa.

Recently, Calvert Health visited CMS and shared information with students about the statistics of breast cancer deaths in our county compared to surrounding counties. Calvert Health is beginning cancer research and testing (first time ever) and paired with Duke Cancer Institute.

Today 🐯 🐅 Green Team had their end of the year picnic enjoying the hard work we put into beautifying our courtyard and keeping CMS GREEN this school year! We already have plans for next school year and cannot wait! #GoGreen #gardening 💚

CMS staff and students are celebrating the last weeks of the school year by sharing school spirit. Tuesday staff dressed up as their hero. Some of our staff dressed as Gwen DeHenzel, CMS teacher of the year for 2022-2023. She does an amazing job with her students everyday!
