Year 5 and 6 Camp Cabot have been very proud to hold their second school camp - this year 27 pupils were able to attend. We put up tents, made things: flags, dream catchers and played team games. A camp fire with hot chocolate and marshmallows was enjoyed by all.

Year 5 science Today in science we have been learning about parts of a flower: we did this by dissecting the parts, examining them using a magnifier and then labelling them. Here are some examples of our learning.

A group of talented Year 5 students visited The Bristol Beacon, to take part in a music performance. They worked hard, practicing 5 pieces of music on their violins, alongside many other schools. They performed to a large crowd and played as part of a huge orchestra.

Year 5 were lucky to enjoy the Zoo lab experience - where the children got to interact with a number of friendly animals such as African land snails and snakes. All this was linked to their learning about the classification of different animals.
