Day 8- children enjoyed packing the ingredients to take home, to make and enjoy a healthy meal with their family. Thank you to Castell Howell Foods for donating ingredients 👍 lots of mindfulness today, including yoga. Children worked in teams to design a healthy meal Cardiff Food and Fun

Day 9- children learnt all about natural sugar and free sugar in our nutrition session today 👍 we had a few shocked faces as they discovered how many sugar cubes are in an energy drink and a bag of haribos 😯 We had lots of team building activities today 👍 Cardiff Food and Fun

Day 10- a big thank you to PC Jane South Wales Police for visiting our school today and delivering an engaging session 🙌 children learnt about the importance of 999 calls, tried on uniforms, had the experience of wearing handcuffs and enjoyed some activities 👍 Cardiff Food and Fun

Children harvested some ingredients from our edible garden to create ‘paper plate faces’ 😊 They learnt the claw and bridge techniques 👏 we had amazing creativity and children tried new fruit and vegetables today 👌Cardiff Food and Fun Grow Cardiff Tyfu Caerdydd

Year 4 have been practising their rugby skills today with the coaches from Cardiff Met.

Year 4 have been working co-operatively today to help them remember the main facts about the conflict between the Romans and the Celts 2000 years ago. Here are the mind maps they produced.

Year 4 have been learning about the dangers of smoking this morning. They have all agreed that smoking is a very silly thing to do and they will never do it!

Year 4 created a fantastic 'Conflict & Peace' mural for their parental engagement activity this term.

Year 4 have been learning about SUDS (sustainable urban drainage systems) today with Alan from Trees for Cities. They will hopefully be back next year to plants some trees and planters around our school. #ecoschools

Year 4 took part in the Giglets read and draw along today. The book was The Lonely Unicorn and they drew a penguin! #giglets

Year 4,5 and 6 had a great morning out at NIAC, Cardiff Met trying out a variety of different sports. #healthandwellbeing
