Our Feature Review is out today Trends in Cognitive Sciences 🥳 Why am I so excited about it? (1/n) sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Memory scientists Morgan Barense, @_chris__martin_ and colleagues have shown their HippoCamera app being developed at University of Toronto can improve memory recall by as much as 50% and could benefit people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. 1/2 Learn more: bit.ly/3H9fnlz

Thank you Ismaila Alfa and Metro Morning for coming by the lab to talk about our research and to peek at your hippocampus! Bryan Hong and I had a great time. cbc.ca/listen/live-ra…

Excited to announce our new preprint: “Improving Memory Search through Model-Based Cue Selection” with Charlotte Cornell, Norman Lab, and Griffiths Computational Cognitive Science Lab! Preprint link: psyarxiv.com/atqs7 (thread 1/5)

I'm so excited this is out!! We wrote a review about how the nature of statistical learning may change with development. Feeling very lucky to have had the dream team of mentors to think (and write) about these issues with ⭐️ Amy Finn Meg Schlichting Duncan Lab

My big postdoc project with Charan Ranganath is officially out in Nature Communications! We analyzed this dataset to death, and I know many of you have seen some version of it a bunch over the past few years, but it's nice to see the final version out 🙂 nature.com/articles/s4146…

Why (and when) does this happen? In our recent paper (Christopher Honey Abhijit Mahabal) we propose psychological momentum: the idea, analogous to physical momentum, that mental states can have the potential to carry forward for minutes or longer - even if we don't want them to.

Presented our latest HippoCamera findings in patients with transient epileptic amnesia at #INS2024inNYC!! Thanks to all who stopped by and special thanks to an amazing research team Katrina Thornber, Morgan Barense, Chris Butler, Bryan Hong, Adam Zeman, and Eliza McCann!
