Totally agree. Probably the greatest detrimental decision that has been made in GAA in the last 30 years. Unless you are the exception at 18 and good enough to make clubs adult teams you are basically left to rot. Neglect of the highest degree!!

As coaches and teachers, whether we are working with teams or classes, we have to embrace failure. On one of our webinars a teacher gave us this gem ➡️ F.A.I.L. =First Attempt In Learning

Dear Congress, Don't make me write about this again after tomorrow. Go back to U18, at club and inter-county. There's gonna be a drop-off, but at 18, the end of school life and the start of adulthood, it's in its natural place. Yet to hear a single good reason why it's U17/19

Clubs and Co Boards need to read this, get behind its motives and realise how much sense it makes. It’s a necessity and a no brainer. The future of players is at stake. Fair play Errigal Ciaran GAC. Canavan one of the all time greats leading the way and talking complete sense!!

Really weak report on the whole, quoting internal GAA reports, all of which support U17 at inter-county. Offering clubs a return to U18 but telling them U18s can't play adult club is like asking them to choose which arm they want sawn off.

#BloodySunday51 Here (again) is my fathers reaction to Bloody Sunday, captured by RTE on the day after the killings. As a young boy I remember standing beside him as the interview was done, the deathly silence was unforgettable.

It shouldn’t need to be said but the 2018 Munster round-robin game between Cork and Limerick was on Sky Sports. This Saturday RTE are showing an old Hitler documentary at the same time as the hurling. It is laughable to suggest this has anything to do with the split season
