The opportunity to chair your Public Patient Involvement in Research panel at yesterday's conference was a personal highlight of my time with the UCC Society of Translational Medicine.

A big thanks to John F. Cryan for joining us on this week's podcast. We learned about some cutting edge research developments at APC Microbiome Ireland and the importance of educational and cultural diversity in a lab team to provide different perspectives and creative research ideas.
