I am blown away by my alma mater cerritoscollege, who surprised me last night by announcing they are naming the new Student Services Center after me. Becoming a student at Cerritos changed my life. To have my name associated with support for students is an incredible honor.

This week, I hosted my final hearing as Chair of the Select Committee on Happiness and Public Policy Outcomes. I want to thank every panelist who joined us over the past months to share their research and success stories, as well as my colleagues for their insightful questions.

Thanks to my colleague for their support on these bills, now headed to Governor Gavin Newsom's desk! We're working to increase park and beach access, expand notification of rights for mobile home park tenants, and limit purchasing of military-grade weapons without local approval.
