Friday, #MorganLabatND celebrated our sixth Ph.D. candidate, Marla Gravino! Marla did a phenomenal job thinking quick on her feet, defending her nucleotide synthesis and evaluation strategies. More information will be upcoming in a publication next year! 🥂🥳 #RNAWorld

The #MorganLabatND has been celebrating the graduation of our third undergraduate, Matt Barnes. Matt worked with Carmen (Carmen 🍋) and developed a novel code to predict covalent reactivity. This Fall, Matt will be joining University of Louisville to earn his MD/PhD! 🎉🍾🥳

Last week, I had a wonderful time at EWOC 2025! I met many incredible women, heard amazing scientific talks, and participated in the career panel. Two organic chemists in our lab, Carmen 🍋 and Marla, gave poster presentations and built great connections. Great job, Abbvie!
