So true. The days are long; the years are short. They will be grown before you are ready. Cherish the time. Savor these days.

We also want to say thank you to all of the retail workers on the front lines, distribution center workers going round the clock & commercial truck drivers who are getting products to the store level - #ncga #ncpol

Let’s be clear about what’s happening right now: We had a bipartisan deal to deliver critical relief to hardworking families until Nancy Pelosi blew it up so she could play politics. Enough already! We’re in the middle of a national emergency. Drop the partisan demands.

Kudos to the amazing LabCorp. Also great that ⁦Donald J. Trump⁩ pushed the vaunted CDC/FDA the hell out of the way so that the private sector could save their bacon. Lessons right in our faces if we will learn them. Note to geniuses: DPA not used.

My 16-year-old just now, with the best how-the-pandemic-will-change-society insight I've heard yet: "We'll never get off school for snow days anymore, now that they have Zoom."

There is absolutely no difference in parents choosing church daycares and using state child care vouchers to fund - which we have done for decades, and parents choosing private k-12 schools that are religious. It’s exactly the same thing #nced #ncpol

.Dale Folwell, CPA for NC Governor is a great steward of the people's money. He has two super powers: he does the math and he speaks the truth. He tells us what we NEED to hear not what we want to hear. #ncpol #ncga

Also note that a second part of the pledge calls for ending the paying of "court costs" which in North Carolina would also mean defunding police training and police retirement systems

Thinking of the sweet and fierce soul of Representative Linda Johnson today. She passed away one year ago today. Linda Johnson always had your back, if she was on your side. Her character was second to none. Her laugh was infectious. She was a fighter until the end. #ncpol

Happy Birthday to NC native Thomas Sowell! Who wisely said: "I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's money."
