Jean-Charles Ledot (Deputy Consul General to the UK) and Eric Donjon (French Honorary Consul, NE & Cumbria) toured the permanent exhibition "Charge: The Story of England's Northern Cavalry" with museum staff, Capt. Mick Reed MBE (Regimental Secretary, HHQ Light Dragoons)...

and Charles May (Chair, Light Dragoons Heritage Committee). Two of the Regiments featured in the exhibition (the 13/18th Hussars and the Northumberland Hussars) participated in the Allied invasion of Europe on 6 June 1944.
