That "makeshift conditions" statement is actually a slap in the face to every ordinary Ghanaian. But you're too busy playing the blame game to realise it.

Asking hospitals and health facilities to operate in conditions that can constitute negligence and make them liable is absolutely wrong.

There was no mention of allocating funds to renovate existing facilities to meet emergency care needs but rather doctors should keep improvising. KATH for instance needs a long overdue facelift

A hospital of KATH's size shouldn't need to refer patients to Korle Bu, but because of equipment limitations, patients are being sent all the way from the Ashanti Region to Accra.
