We love a befriending story! Ted had his medals, which had meant so much to him, stolen and he was distraught at the loss. Gary, Ted's befriender, decided to see if the medals could be re-presented and they were formally handed over to Ted in a ceremony at RAF Northolt.

It's #RideLikeTheWindDay, a day to celebrate those who have pioneered human powered flight. Derek Piggott, a glider pilot in the RAF, flew the first human powered flight on 9 November in 1961 - flying Southampton University's Man Powered Aircraft about 600 metres.
