Year 11 DofE Silver students. Keep on with your independent sections and work towards your DofE Certificate of Achievement. Any issues with activity change requests, get in touch with Miss Roberts or Mr Awan by email. There are lots of ideas and for alternative activities.

On the day of the funeral of the founder of the DofE award, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. What can we do in his memory? We get on with it. Aim high, do your best. What will you do today to make a DofE difference?

DofE Expeditions are go! Rather different this year but we've started our DofE Bronze expedition training with our year 9 students. A wet and windy tent session.

It is always a treat to visit Blackhills for Beckfoot Upper Heaton students and last Thursday it was to assess both bronze and silver students. They had battled a heatwave and summer storms but were in great spirits sharing their stories. Well done to Miss Knight and the team!
