Disappointed with BBC Breakfast this morning. πŸ˜’ Suggestion was that ALL pts with Covid should be cared for in hospital and that home Rx was a failure of the NHS. Most pts will have a mild illness and should be NOWHERE near a hospital. Better reporting please!

I'll be observing the minute's silence at 11am on Tuesday 28 April for workers who've lost their lives. Please join me in thanking and remembering those who have paid the highest price during the #COVID19 pandemic. #NeverForgotten #IWMD20

🚨If you are over 80, live in Sunderland and haven't had or been contacted to have the 1st dose of COVID vaccine please contact your GP for an appointment. If you're not in this category, it's important that you continue to wait to be contacted. Please do not contact your GP🚨

This week,Sunderland PCNs will reach a key milestone in vaccination uptake. On track to vaccinate our top 4 priority cohorts by end of week. PCNs have got the capacity and the capability to vaccinate at a more rapid pace but we appreciate that vaccine supply remains an issue.
