Pianist Libby Burgess joined us in Cornwall this March to play BachProject48. The Cornish leg of the tour has raised over £1,500 for Help Musicians, Live Music Now, Youth Music & Future Talent. The running total of the project is now at almost £30,000!

2 years ago today: the first performance of Project 48. Since then, over 40 venues - gardens/cathedrals/theatres/foyers - across over 20 counties. That’s about 10,000 preludes & fugues. And this week crossed the £30,000 mark raised for 4 amazing charities! 🎉 Lots more to come.

My monster project to play all 48 preludes and fugues in all 48 counties of England BachProject48 is ongoing and has so far raised over £30,000 for these brilliant organisations. It has been one of the most challenging and rewarding musical projects of my career to date!

I love playing around with the sequence I play the preludes and fugues in for this project. But on a sunny morning with light streaming through the windows it just has to be this one first 🥰
