When you search for "cat" or "dog" on Google and click on the paw icon on the right-hand side this happens. For many other animals, you can play their sound this way. I love these tiny features.

I've managed to get through a list of 2999 kanji (jouyou+jinmeiyou). The hard part is over, now I just need to keep up with the reviews. #japanese

I got a bit tired some time ago and I decided to take it easy. To work on hobby projects and not necessarily aim to make a business out of them. But the idea of business just won't leave my mind alone. #buildinpublic

Last weekend I worked on a dialog to add new flashcards (from the dictionary or custom) to a vocab deck. They can also be edited first. Next weekend I want to make a tool for AI generating vocabulary lists. #buildinpublic

"My diary entry has nothing to do with anyone else" This is an important realization if you want to build in public authentically. You share your work, your best work, your worst work. But you share what's real to you, not what you think your audience might want to hear.

This is how you would import vocabulary flashcards from text into lingaku. Next, I will work on importing from structured files (csv/tsv). (The text is from the Wikipedia page about Japan) #buildinpublic #japanese

My website now has more signed-up users than I have followers... 📈 Funny for a 2-day thing.🤔 Maybe I should poke the codebase again... #buildinpublic

For authentic discussions with indie hackers, I'll go to Arvid Kahl 's YouTube channel. I've just seen the episode with Marc Lou, and I really enjoyed how it turned into a brainstorming session.

Do you know anyone learning Japanese 🇯🇵? I've been working on this flashcards web app with a built-in dictionary, and it's been super helpful for my learning. If you or someone you know is interested in testing it out, please reach out!
