Re-viewed Star Trek IV and V yesterday. Was a relaxing experience, I definitely miss the sentiment those films imparted upon the viewer. Star Trek V is not as bad as I was expecting upon re-watch and the special effects, although inferior to what ILM did, were not terrible either

Lol, lmao even. I could tell from the costume that they referenced Amedda for the Oathkeeper, but this outright confirms it. This is good, because it helps maintain a consistent visual language for the Senate. You can even spot some of the same costume elements on both of them.
