The mark of musical genius--a melody so seemingly simple, yet so hauntingly moving. Growing up when the #Beatles were together makes being old worthwhile. #NowAndThen The Beatles Paul McCartney John Lennon George Harrison #RingoStarr youtube.com/watch?v=Opxhh9…

One of the attributes of the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center Musicians that I most enjoy is their warmth toward patrons. Here, #Timpanist #DavidPunto (with lovely lady friend, Sabina) explains that orchestral musicians intentionally play at slightly different tones, to create a fuller sound. Interesting!
