Our researcher delivered the NUS Tropical Marine Science Institute monthly webinar on bioacoustics, speaking about ARL's 2 decades of research on developing synchronized video-audio recording systems for studying marine mammal behaviour in the wild. It was a well-attended talk with some good interactions.

After our successful Arctic campaign, our scientists are undertaking a campaign to the Antarctic on the Lindblad expeditions-National Geographic voyage! They will study the acoustics of melting ice in this under-explored region which is critical in terms of climate-change impact.
