AP-WORP led by the founder, Florence Munteh celebrate the international day of the Rural woman by Recorgnising the women Heroes who feed our communities on daily basis. From the farms to the studio of CRTV, these women amplified their voices raising awareness on challenges

Within the context of the armed Conflict in the NW/ SW Regions of Cameroon, the remote communities suffer most as access to basic services become almost impossible. Acts of Gender Based Violence are exercibated little or almost no awareness on interventions and response

It is within this context that AP-WORP set out to create awareness on the necessity of education as a tool to respond to and Prevent GBV . We provided basic didactic materials, drinking pales, soap, books, Disinfectant, cardboard papers, foot balls and hand balls, bags, shoes

We engaged them on the importance of peace building as a way to strengthen community response to prevent and respond to GBV and sustain peace. We Salut the resilience that our communities have shown in the face of current challenges.

Adolescent girls were sensitized on the importance of menstrual hygiene @SRHR Most who were shying away from talking about their menstrual health became interested when they understood the practical demonstrations used during the session and the provision of sanitary pads.

Strengthening communities to response to and prevent @GBV and Wim Van Aerschot project let us to realise a great mile stone which is @BOYOWOMENPEACEBUILDERSNETWORK made up of different women is committed to lead peace building, mediation and women's participation in peace processes.

As we Unite and Invest on the journey of ending Gender-Based Violence in our communities, let us be informed, GBV is one of the key ways of killing humanity and stifling human, social, mental and economic growth. Lets engage to prevent and respond to GBV # @unwomen @minprof

Today, we joined other actors in a town hall large gathering to spread the word about this year's campaign "Unite, Invest to prevent GBV against women and girls. This event brought together about 500 women who are enthusiastic about putting an end to all forms of GBV AP-WORP
