Handy tip for increasing moth trap yields - put other pots nearby to catch things. I put this pheromone trap (without pheromones) beside my trap, hoping that some moths might go in. It worked! Peppered moth was in this but not inside the trap. Plant pots with cones also work.

It was all happening in the local culvert at lunchtime. 57 Old Lady gathered on the ceiling. Two optimistically wafting pheromones about, despite the early hour. Also newly arrived were 2 Peacock and 2 Herald. My first #HibernatingHeralds of the season! 🥳
