Today, I had to advise an ex-trainee to look for work abroad. They have applied for several training posts & have not even been shortlisted. UK trained, great references, great work ethic, locum work drying up. Heartbreaking ๐ How do we solve this issue Wes Streeting ?

We have been offered 1p/patient/week. 50p, per patient. An extra ยฃ15 a day for my practice. SoโฆCoffee run for the admin staff? Not sure a free caffeinated beverage is going to fix access issues: but thatโs the level of funding weโve been offered by Mike Nesbitt.

Wes is wrong there are NO EXTRA GP appts This is because he has still refused to fund GP practices to employ GPs, instead using ARRS funding encouraged by NHS England leaders FUND GP PRACTICES TO BRING BACK THE FAMILY GP Stop messing around Wes Streeting with failed policies

Integrated Neighbourhood, we call it Walney Health Hub. Whilst it doesn't follow 10YP philosophy, it is a vision of local people with primary care at the heart of it. Sanchit Turaga A lot of places have recruitment holds due to cost pressures. Every vacancy needs approval from board level people, and they will try to CIP anything that looks to them like a luxury. Agency spend targets mean that locuming may not be an option either. The whole thing stinks.
