Wow thank-you to everyone who have helped us to raise nearly £70,000 over the last year for the Fire Fighters Charity charity, including car washes, rugby matches, Halloween events and donations of clothes in the collection banks outside our stations.👏🏽

Our crews often find it difficult to navigate through residential areas, possibly delaying them from a life saving emergency. Think about where you park. Can we get through? Are you causing an obstruction for other road or path users?

The Met Office's Fire Severity Index (FSI), is an assessment of how severe a fire could become if one were to start. Here in #Northamptonshire it is very high, rising to exceptional. Help us by taking sensible precautions around bonfires, BBQs and disposing of cigarettes.

The dry grass and foliage around us is extremely flammable and fires can get out of control dangerously fast. Don't have bonfires as these may spread to garages or other buildings quicker than usual.
