Feeling a bit cross today at the news about how Britain's recession is going be worse than that in the US or the Eurozone. Someone, somewhere, has clearly made some bad choices.

Every time I hear a Tory MP complain about £5 million or £50 million being spent on asylum seekers I remember that they spent £120 million on the Festival of Brexit which included putting an old empty oil rig on display in Weston-super-Mare

BREAKING: Germany has just announced UNLIMITED public transport anywhere in the country will cost just £1.40 PER DAY. Officials say the policy is aimed at cutting CO2 emissions and helping with the cost of living. Anyone else think our government should do something similar?
