A team led by Steffen Sahl & Stefan W. Hell MPI for Multidisciplinary Sciences and Max Planck Institute for Medical Research has succeeded in measuring distances within biomolecules using the #MINFLUX microscopy method, down to 1 nanometer and with Ångström precision. We have introduced a new biocompatible sulfonium-based building block for generation of non-cytotoxic covalent fluorescent probes. The proof-of-concept paper is on BioRxiv: doi.org/10.1101/2025.0… . Great job done by Marie Auvray at MPI for Multidisciplinary Sciences ! Enjoy reading!
