Feel like I’ve been pushing through the start of some illness this week so now fully expecting for it to hit me full force as soon as I stop work!

My team were given some children’s gifts that were left from a charity collection. They spent the day identifying people on their caseloads who would benefit from them and then delivered them to their homes. I’m so proud to be part of such a wonderful team 😭 #protectthenhs

Told the kids we could watch a Christmas film. They asked for The Muppets Christmas Carol. One of my proudest parenting moments.

As if my toddler being diagnosed with a heart murmur wasn’t enough this week, he now also has scarlet fever.

Making my kids’ birthday cake today. 7 sponges for a 3 tier cake. And my oven has broken this morning!!

My kids asked me for a Pokémon cake that was a grass layer on the bottom, then a water layer, then a pokeball- with as many pokemon as I could manage. I did my best!
