As we head back into the school week, let’s be extra cautious in school zones! -Slow down and obey the speed limits in school zones. -Watch for children waiting for the bus. -Stop for school buses with their lights flashing! -Be aware of crosswalks and pedestrians at all times.

Each January 9th, on National Law Enforcement Appreciation day, we take a moment to recognize our law enforcement officers. Thank you today and every day.

Last week, officers placed bottle tags in community to remind you to drive sober this Super Bowl weekend. The 2024 Super Bowl weekend in Ohio saw 111 crashes involving alcohol and/or drugs. Plan ahead: designate a driver, or request an Uber or Lyft. Know the rules. Drive sober.

Throughout February, we are supporting the Steele EcoLeague Annual Food Drive. Please visit our station to donate non-perishable food items and personal care products. All donations will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Lorain County in the fight against food insecurity.
