Yes, I cycle. In fact I’ve been cycling for over 55 years. It’s probably longer than most of vocal cycling campaigners on Twitter. Whom I block.

In London, councils are making £millions from LTN schemes that increase traffic congestion & emissions on our busy community roads. The report showing the claim "LTNs reduce car use" to be false was then buried by TfL: x.com/LittleNinjaUK/… Ediz The Fox 👤 The Times and The Sunday Times

Like many others who knew that LTNs simply rerouted traffic onto sacrificial roads, I was gaslighted by local politicians (like Jon Burke) and blocked by Will Norman because I told the truth. Ignored by Hackney’s Health & Wellbeing Board, the Green Party, etc, I won’t give up.

It's the public sector versus the rest of us. Despite most councils being in a desperate financial condition & the country being broke, Labour will bring 16,000 local councillors into the gold-plated taxpayer funded Local Government Pension Scheme. And council tax will increase

LTNs by design increase vehicle miles but do NOT reduce car use Increased traffic congestion & emissions on LTN sacrificial roads does NOT diminish over time 5 years of increase air pollution exposure 5 years of additional lung damage By how many years have lives been shortened?

Ed Miliband promised to cut your energy bills by £300. But bills are rising AGAIN today because of his political choices. Britain cannot afford Ed Miliband.

Another British tradition quietly taken off air. Another shrug from the BBC. This time it's the Boat Race - first broadcast on radio in 1927, on television since 1938 - dropped after nearly a century. Why? Not low viewing figures: last year's men's and women's races pulled in

Want to increase cycling? Stop wasting money on poorly designed expensive cycle lanes and on attacking car use. Make sure cyclists can leave bikes at their destination without fear of them being stolen!

They hid plans for congestion charge in Oxford until after the May elections. Now, the LibDem county council can't even be bothered to inform Oxfordshire residents the scheme is starting, until just before its start date. Ps: the permit website is awful. thisisoxfordshire.co.uk/news/25516059.…

One of the lessons from history is that broad church parties win elections. Ask Thatcher, Reagan, Clinton, Blair and Cameron. Parties which insist on ideological purity eventually become narrow sects, and are destined to lose, over and over again. Conservatives be warned.
