Was driving 30 km/h around a construction zone (even though no one was working, imagine) and was able to easily stop when a small child chasing their puppy ran out in front of me. Slowing down saves lives. Do you want to start your day killing a kid and their dog? I don't!

Kare Package Given all else the same, a vehicle going 50km/h will slow down to 40km/h in the same space it takes a vehicle at 30km/h to come to a full stop. This blows people's minds. Driving 30km/h where kids are present is the difference between stopping and plowing them over at 40km/h.
