With a crew of roughly 500, the City of Winnipeg's annual spring cleanup is a huge operation. We sweep the entire street network, boulevards along main routes, bike paths, and sidewalks. On average, crews collect about 45,000 tonnes of debris each year.

Spring cleanup is coming April 14. Crews will sweep our entire transportation network over the next six weeks. We’ll also be tidying debris and litter in City parks. Watch for temporary no parking signs on major routes to avoid a ticket and a tow.
