It’s not every day you get to help host a U.S. Treasury Secretary at work! Thanks to Secretary Janet Yellen (Archived) and the Treasury Department team for the @CSIS_Econ visit to highlight shared work on evolving international finance institutions to tackle global public goods challenges like climate change.



You can't tell from the picture, but the first one is Aidan Arasasingham taking questions from Secretary Yellen because he's that influential. Or at least will be. Seriously though, great event.


Dear press release writers: the U.S. Dept. of Education's acronym is ED. The Dept. of Energy predates the Dept. of Education and therefore owns the acronym DOE. Please do not call U.S. Department of Education DOE. I will be confused and angry.
