Well, it happened. The corn/DAP ratio has finally matched the all-time high set in 2008. The current relationship has farmers spending more bushels than ever to pay for their phosphate needs. With India paying higher overnight, we likely break it next week.

The all-time high NOLA DAP/new crop corn ratio was set in late 2008 at 183 bushels of corn per 1 ton of DAP. With today's DAP and Dec '26 corn price, the ratio reached 174. We are only 9 bushels away from a new record...and the horizon doesn't look great.
