Yesterday the shark went out for a test run since its overhaul. Still a few parts to finish off but then the shark can be pressed into service on diesel tours, meaning a few extra spaces to advertise soon. thankyou to all our volunteers and suppliers who have made this possible

Putting the "experience" in driver experiences. Only avaliable on full day experiences , we always try to give the customer a chance of having a real steelworks experience. Sometimes it isn't possible. But when it is !

Sam shared this to us from Saturday the 12th. This was our last public tour of 2024. We have just 2 more private tour sessions for the year before we begin our maintenance season.

Put that...stove ...out ? Thanks to a member of the chasewater railway we have purchased a brand new stove casting to fit into our shark brake van. We also had a guided tour of the yard at chasewater. Not a bad days work all in all :)

On her last trip of the season 54 pulls away.

Off she sets, ending of the night, And doesn't she look lovely. To our visitors, supporters and volunteers, Thankyou so so much for another year. Your work & donations enable us to continue these tours around what is now the only UK steelworks with active blast furnaces.

The darkness of the night transforms steelworks into a different world, making a beautiful for a tour. Hopefully something we can do again. Thanks to Ben Hanson for taking photos for our media (after we forgot our camera!) All taken within our platform/ yard area.
