when the social media companies were woke i didn’t think much of it. thought it was annoying and didn’t do much. i was very, very wrong. sufficiently woke moderation was the only thing keeping social media from being a cancer on human society. it may be the death of liberalism.

Every VC on podcasts: "I've noticed an insight no one in tech has ever mentioned before: First-time founders focus on product. Seasoned founders focus on distribution. Can’t believe I’m giving this playbook away for free."

It's crazy how much nicer Android is to use than iOS. Sure iOS gets more attention from devs and that can be important depending on what you do, but comparing Android to iOS, and not the 3rd party apps, Android just works better. Better notifications, better typing, better

I used to think I could only be professionally happy if I were the founder of my own company or firm. I thought working for someone else would stifle my autonomy and creative spirit, and that I wouldn't have the patience for it. I’m surprised by how much I enjoy working here

In about a year—with 10 researchers and a 40‑person team—we’ve gone from zero to: a top‑tier image model, a creative agent, the world’s best AI image editor, and a production API. Next: a model trained with 5× the compute, plus major upgrades to the editor and creative agent.

I try to meet new people who have moved to SF every week and consistently their number one question is.. “Why do people do things here that have no transactional value?” This is the secret that makes Silicon Valley so special. You’ll consistently hear stories of how some of
