For those of us who study America's long war in Vietnam, the passing of two giants in the field is sad news. George Herring was the epitome of gentleman-scholar. John Prados was amiable & unceasingly curious. Both leave behind a legacy of scholarship & mentoring that will endure.

These meetings are always a highlight of the quarter for me. They're a perfect mix of constructive feedback, intellectual inquiry, and lots of laughs (plus, delicious snacks!). We'll be hosting our next workshop in March. All are welcome!
