FRANK THE TANK! 🇳🇬🦅 Watch this video ⚽🪩 I want to tell you about Frank Onyeka Midfield engine for the Super Eagles And Brentford FC of England. His introduction into the team against Tunisia caught our eyes . He brought life and intensity to the midfield. Always running⏯️

Strong attacking lineup but have to think we’re looking at a CM with just Eccles on the bench, even if Allen is back for Saturday #PUSB

Rushworth’s kicking, Kitching’s distribution and error, both CBs performance, the midfield setup with BTA and Torp too high/passive, Esse/EMC workrate working back, Grimes off it again with poor set pieces, the odd substitutions (Yang and Simms) - where to start? #PUSB

Coventry far too open of late. Seeing as the full-backs are so attacking, I think some sort of midfield tweak now is essential. Either move to a three-man midfield, and/or bring Eccles back in to a deep role focused around snuffing out attacks. Grimes is an artist and a joy, but

This but with MVE and JDS higher up. Suicidal away from home. None of Esse, EMC, BTA bust a gut to get back when Norwich broke in the second half. Eccles should have replaced BTA at half-time. Esse walking for their 1st leaving Milan exposed again x.com/jaybee87/statu…

Opinion seems divided on whether Grimes is the ‘problem’. For me, the problem is playing two players as 10s in BTA and Torp, having the full backs overlap, then asking Grimes to cover both spaces. Yes, Grimes hasn’t been up to his early season standards but who has? 1/2

I’d have our best midfield three as Grimes/Eccles/Torp, with Torp the furthest forward, meaning we need at least one CM to allow rotation, ideally a 6. For me, BTA can play closer to the striker off the wing but not as a No.10 2/2 #PUSB

Lampard is right to be angry about the way the goals were conceded but needs to take responsibility for how open we were tonight and have been for weeks. It was easy to see the system wasn’t working in the 1st half and Norwich could have won by more. Reboot needed #PUSB

Also, can we stop kidding ourselves that 2 points per game guarantees promotion. We need to match Boro and Ipswich’s results and form and both are miles ahead in the form table having strengthened this window. Hull and Millwall are also capable of putting runs together #PUSB

Looks a talented prospect but someone from the club needs to explain the thinking. Maybe Esse moves into the 10 but Glasner doesn’t think he can and 4 forwards didn’t work on Monday. Odd there was nothing from Lampard in the announcement. More outs/ins to follow surely #PUSB

Now 17 points dropped from winning positions - where have the mentality monsters gone? Lampard seemingly unwilling to change tactics to see games out or tighten up #pusb

Chris Morton (@achrismorton) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Exactly this - Kitching and Thomas lumping it forward to Simms marked by 2 defenders again and again. Wingers trying to dribble on that pitch

Chris Morton (@achrismorton) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Back 3 away at Portsmouth against a poor team on a tight pitch and win comfortably. Away at QPR play the same back 4 as the Norwich game and lose. Seems bloody minded to play four wingers just because you’ve signed them #PUSB

Rushworth aside, what about our current team:setup is working? Esse has looked good offensively. Otherwise the defence is shot, midfield all over the place and not physical able to control games, and no idea who our best striker is with neither in form #pusb

What lessons do we need to learn having lost two games from winning positions in a week. I’m sure FL has answers but you get no sense he sees these issues as being as much as a problem as we do. It’s not just individual errors and tiredness
