#brigadaeskwela 2023 made more festive and informative through the support of SiNDAO 2, a project funded by EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 in the Philippines. Parents, teachers, and students clean up their school, joined info sharing sessions, & others that encourage parent-learner participation.

In these days of monsoon season calamities often hit communities in the #Philippines one after another, being prepared is the best way to reduce possible impact to people. #EU EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 works with Local emergency responders, they play key roles in saving lives during disasters.

Rapid, life-saving assistance was delivered to flood-affected families of Brgy. Gamot, Oras, Eastern Samar via a 2-hour boat ride. Funded by EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺, the ACCESS consortium is committed to providing immediate humanitarian aid to flood-affected communities in the Visayas.

Access to clean water is crucial during emergencies. As part of our commitment to support life-saving needs of flood-affected communities in Eastern Samar, our team installed a water filtration unit provided by @asb_idn -ASB Indonesia and the Philippines

Flooding has affected thousands of Filipinos across parts of the Visayas. Through EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺, the 🇪🇺 has directed over ₱18 million in aid to help vulnerable communities 🇵🇭. Our partners are on the ground, assisting those affected and facilitating recovery and rebuilding 🌏.

February is Civil Registration Month! ACCESS Project, funded by EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 , supported the birth registration in Jabonga #Mindanao #PH, where there are still unregistered people, barring their access to education, health, and other social services.

Higaonon tribes, youth-, & women-led groups shared their views with govt offices regarding programs and policies that concern them. The activity became a #SafeSpace for network building and dialogue. The event was supported by #BRIDGEProject, with funding from European Commission.

Organized. Dignified. Families from Maragusan lined up to get food items during ACCESS relief distribution for those affected by Mindanao flood early this year. "Grocery style” distrib has been done for years & is surely an organized and dignified way to deliver life-saving aid.

Some families in Maragusan 🇵🇭 have been displaced consecutive times, have never returned from this evacuation site. They fled during earthquake in 2023 and then flood & storm in early 2024 and lately landslide, destroying their farms. EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 provides food & sanitation support.

Barangay Lugsongan conducted a community drill for typhoon on November 18 -- the first ever in the municipality of Limasawa. The island is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, making disaster preparedness and climate change adaptation essential priorities.
