Kaitlin Murphy had a goal and an assist to lead the Red Hook girls soccer team in a 2-1 win over Roosevelt. Molly Button added a goal for the Raiders in what was coach Jason Pavlich’s 300th career win. Roosevelt’s Celeste Gorres scored.

Andrew Lovgren didn’t make his audience wait. The Highland CSD senior scored 5 seconds in, giving the Huskies a 2-0 lead on Saugerties. Lovgren, who has cerebral palsy and has managed the basketball team since 1st grade, got to start his final game. And he gave us this moment.

Varsity is now 6-2-1 on the season after a hard fought 2-0 victory over Spackenkill today at home. 2nd half goals from Pethic (Murphy assist) and Murphy (pk) and great performance from Faraldi (6 saves) and the defense secured the win. Next up is New Paltz on Tuesday at home.
