To bomb Iran the US deployed 7 B2 bombers—each cost $2.1B to build. They used 14 huge “bunker busters,” a model that cost $500 million to develop. The US invested ~ $15 billion in this attack—almost 50% more than it invested in affordable housing construction this year.

Good morning! Joe Biden’s chief Middle East advisor wants you to know Trump has brought us to “the best place we can be.” (And the White House wants you to know he said that.)

The most cynical forces in Dem politics, the ones who have spent the past few months pushing surrender on every substantive front, are humiliated now. Their whole theory of politics is in ashes. The people they have the deepest contempt for accomplished what they never could.

Zohran crushed it in the most Jewish city in the United States (and his numbers will be even better after RCV from Lander). You don't do that without doing *quite* well with Jewish voters. Suck it, AIPAC -- you don't represent our people.

Mamdani's victory will be the biggest election win for climate populism since AOC beat Crowley in 2018. With AOC, the GND promised good green jobs. Mamdani's Green Abundance for the Many is all about making the good life affordable. Climate politics have fundamentally changed.

has felt this way on and off since bernie's iowa near-win in 2016. feels truer than ever today. the dem center is unbelievably weak and unpopular bc they transparently stand for nothing

To see pro-Israel hysteria and its cynical, destructive politics not only fail, but backfire, in NYC of all places is significant and will give a lot of people courage.

According to pre-election polls, Mamdani ran 2nd among Jewish voters. I bet that among young Jews, he'll be shown to have come in first. The arrogance and insularity of the "we" here is remarkable

Zohran Mamdani’s win is historic in the ways the headlines capture. But the real story is how he won—and why, writes Waleed Shahid 🪬. thenation.com/article/politi…

Maybe, just maybe, based on where it has helped land us, the Democratic Party in its current configuration is bad for New York and bad for the Democratic Party. Hard to imagine ⁦The Washington Post⁩ publishing anything like this when Adams won nomination washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/…

Jeet Heer (@heerjeet) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Really looks like some Dem party leaders are toying with sabotaging Mamdani's campaign even though his the nominee fair & square. If they do this, they will absolute alienate all the voters they are already bleeding, especially young voters (including young Black voters), & Asian
