I love this. Everyone should step back and have a better perspective on sports, athletes, and what really matters in their own lives. A quote I remember from @ColinCowherd years ago always stuck with me: “love your life, like your sports.”

Ask any athlete or someone around athletics “how much of sport is mental?” And you get answers typically between “75-90%.” Ironic then that teams/colleges/athletes invest closer to less than 5-10% of time or budget on training what they claim is so important. 🤔
